The HTC J 4G Phone Heading to the UK

HTC J Butterfly

The HTC J which was released in Japan now looks to be heading to us in the UK, however when it lands here it looks like it will be known as the HTC Deluxe.

In a leaked image on Twitter the phone is seen to be sporting a screen showing the London weather and is being called the global version of the Android HTC J.

The phone has been released in both Japan and the USA (as the HTC Droid DNA in the US) so we can expect very similar specifications on the UK model.

The phone has a 5-inch Super LCD 3 touchscreen display and a quad-core processor as well as 2GB RAM and 16GB of on board memory. NFC, Bluetooth and LTE/4G connectivity are on board as well as an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front facing camera.

Android 4.1 is the OS and the phone is waterproof too, so from the specs this handset will sit at the higher end of the market so you should expect it to be free on higher rental tariffs. There is no confirmation from HTC on pricing or a release timetable so watch this space for more information.
