Symbian Belle

Nokia have announced three new Symbian smartphones – Nokia 600, 700 and 701. All three have single-tap NFC sharing and pairing capabilities and run on the latest Symbian Belle OS for a more powerful mobile web browsing experience. The Symbian Belle succeeds Anna and brings more improvements to the Symbian OS. The new OS brings improvements to the homescreen making the widgets more flexible and resized. Multitasking has also been improved with the old task switcher changed to a new flicker system which involves flicking between live images of your open applications. Another big change that is visible in Belle is a pull down menu for notifications from any homescreen. This menu will also offer toggles to control mobile data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Silent mode. A possible move towards Android design can be seen.
