Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium

The Sony Xperia XZ2 seemed to leave some people disappointed as it didn’t do the usual Sony thing of standing out against the competition. Enter the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium to sweeten the pot. This latest release from Sony is packed with lots of great features and a superb camera.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a 4K HDR display, a 5.8-inch screen with impressive clarity, colour depth and detail. As has come to be expected from new releases there is a dual camera on board the XZ2 Premium. This consists of a 12-megapixel monochrome camera and a second 19-megapixel colour lens. This will make for superb low-light capture and gives you a whole range of post-editing options. Bokeh, soft focus backgrounds or changing the focus of a shot after taking it are all possible with this camera. You can capture video clips in 4K HDR or 960 FPS slow-motion capture

The new and improved front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel lens with the ability to capture more of the available light.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium delivers on the sound front with a Dynamic Vibration system that detects the type of media you are using and changes the vibration feedback to suit. Other features include a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, stereo speakers and a bigger capacity battery.

The phone will be released later this year, although we don’t have confirmation on pricing we can expect it to be up there with other flagships models. The 4K HDR capture features and extensive high-quality camera features make this a phone to seriously consider for your next upgrade.
