Sony Ericsson stay Green!

greenSony Ericsson are carrying on their mission to save the world with their latest environmentally friendly phones – the Elm and the Hazel. The two ‘green’ phones are follow ups to the Green Heart C901 and the Naite which came with useful applications such as a greenhouse gas omission calculator and an e-manual. The two new handsets boast an impressive list of features including WiFi, GPS, Intelligent Volume Adaptation, Noise Shield and social networking integration.

Both the Elm and Hazel boast impressive 5 megapixel cameras, WiFi and GPS as well as social networking integration. Sony Ericsson have tried to make these handsets as green as possible with recycled plastics, e-manuals, low power consumption charger, green calculator, minimized packaging and Walk Mate eco application. The phones are also free from hazardous chemicals and use waterborne paint. Multimedia options are super on the two devices with MegaBass, SenseMe and TrackID but unfortunately Sony Ericsson have failed to include a 3.5mm audio jack in the mix.

The eco friendly phones will be available in the first quarter of 2010. If you can’t wait until then, mobilesplease.co.uk compares all the best mobile phone deals for the Sony Ericsson Naite with prices starting from as little as £9!
