With the Samsung Galaxy S4 flying off the shelves it seemed inevitable that Samsung would deliver a Mini version sometime soon, and now it has been made official.

There have been many rumours about the phone over the last few months and with the Samsung vs Apple battle raging on we were expecting the phone to keep the momentum of phone releases from Samsung going.

Many of the rumours have now proved to be true and this Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is packing many of the great features of its namesake so you get a great handset for a smaller price tag.

The S4 Mini has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen display and the latest Android 4.2.2 OS powered along by a dual-core 1.7GHz processor. Many of the Samsung features seen on the S4 are on board including S Health, Group Play and WatchON.

There is an 8-megapixel snapper with Sound & Shot voice activation as well as Panorama mode as seen on the original S4.

Connectivity options on the S4 Mini include superfast 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC and the phone has 8GB of on board memory which can be expanded with a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini retains many of the great features of the original S4 making it the perfect choice if you want the premium experience without the bigger price tag and the phone will be available from July so it won’t be too long until we can get our hands on it.
