Samsung Galaxy S II – Coming Soon

The Samsung Galaxy S II brings a new personality to the already popular series of handsets with a high performance dual core processor that handles multiple layers of open applications with true multitasking and an optical evolution with the new futuristic 3D TouchWiz user interface.

The 4.3-inch super-AMOLED Plus display offers a remarkable clarity and the slim-line display has allowed Samsung to lead the way with a form that measures only 8.49mm in thickness. The new super-AMOLED Plus display also reduces the strain on the battery, which in turn makes this a device that is designed to be used and last the distance.

The Galaxy S II runs a personalisable interface that resembles the layout of a magazine, simply drop applications onto the homepage from a list of extensive apps that will give you plenty to choose from. Social Network Integration, games, music, video and your gallery form the back bone of the usual apps expected and these are bolstered with live updates from Samsung’s Music, Reader and Game Hubs.

Cutting edge technology creates the real difference between this phone and its competition. Wi-Fi Direct allows two devices to exchange files at unrivalled speeds whilst DLNA AllShare takes your media to other compatible devices such as a TV, laptop or audio system for a larger than life experience. The Galaxy S II also hosts voice recognition, Google Translation and Near Field Communication, the new wireless & walletless payment system.

Music playback is taken to the next level with bass enhancements and 5.1 channel sound whilst the optical line up includes an 8-megapixel camera with 30fps/1080p recording. The latest Android OS is also on board and this supports video calling with the 2-megapixel forward facing camera. Gaming is worthy of an extra note with a selection of standard and premium gaming titles available to download that make use of the in-built sensors for motion controlled play.

The Samsung Galaxy S II should reach UK shores soon so keep an eye on our blog to find out when it becomes available.
