Samsung Galaxy Note 9 S Pen to get Bluetooth

The S Pen has long been a big feature of the Galaxy Note series and now it looks like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 S Pen is to get Bluetooth.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 rumours

There have been a few rumours swirling around about the new Galaxy Note 9 but there has been little to go on when it comes to the S Pen. This looks to be remedied by the latest rumour coming from IceUniverse. The upgrade to this latest iteration of the S Pen will apparently bring Bluetooth functions.

Review Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Previous rumours have hinted at a big 4,000mAh battery, a big beefy processor and a similar look and design to the Galaxy Note 8.

S Pen with Bluetooth

The rumour suggests that the Bluetooth upgrade will deliver lots more functions to the S Pen. The main function of the pen was to interact with the phone display. You can tap away on apps, write notes or draw images. The new S Pen is going to offer much more.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features

The Bluetooth feature will allow you to control other functions of the phone, such as music. You will be able to play, pause and skip tracks by using the S Pen and won’t have to pick up the phone.

The rumour also suggests that the new S Pen can be used as a long-range timer for the camera shutter. This will give you the ability to get into the shot and press the button to take the photo. This will be a great feature for anyone that loves taking snaps of events and places they visit.

If Bluetooth does make it on to the S Pen we can expect some impressive demonstrations during the handset launch event.
