The Galaxy A series has been used as a proving ground for new smartphone technology. The manufacturer likes to try out new things on these handsets to test the water and decide whether to take them to the flagship models. The new Samsung Galaxy A80 has been given a unique camera module.

The Galaxy A80 has a 48-megapixel camera lens with an f/2.0 aperture. The camera module can be used as the rear camera or the selfie camera. To do this, there is a pop-up module that moves up when you select the selfie camera. The rear camera lens then rotates to become the front-facing camera.

That means you get the same amazing quality photo and video whether shooting from the front or back.

Super Steady mode for video recording which was features on the Galaxy S10 is included. That’s not all, you also get a second 8-megapixel lens for ultra-wide shots and a 3D ToF sensor for Live Focus.
