Nokia Announces Asha Touch Range of Phones

Nokia has announced three new budget handsets that are touch feature phones known as the touch Asha range.

The Asha 311, 306 and 305 are budget feature phones with a number of fun features including 40 EA games pre-loaded.

The dual-SIM Asha 305 is at the lower end of the range with a 3-inch resistive touchscreen, dual-band connectivity, Bluetooth and a 2-megapixel snapper as well as a 3.2mm audio jack and an expandable memory.

The Asha 306 is similar to the 305 but adds video streaming over GPRS and WLAN to its spec sheet.

The Asha 311 is the higher end of the bunch and includes a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 1GHz processor and an expandable memory. The camera is a modest 3.2-megapixel affair and there is an accelerometer, proximity sensor and Bluetooth.

The Nokia Asha touch range is expected shortly with the Asha 305 heading our way first followed by the other two later in the year.
