Nokia 800, Ace and Sabre To Be Revealed

The Nokia World 2011 will take place in London tomorrow at 9am where the revealing of 3 new handsets will take place with the main focus on Microsoft’s latest Windows Mobile OS. Steve Ballmer has already revealed the possibility of more than one Windows powered Nokia phone. Apple and Google have both introduced new operating systems, iOS 5 and Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich that have come with a number of new features and improvements.

The Nokia 800, similar in design to the N9, will be the alpha of the lot. A 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, 1.4 GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera and NFC functions are the key features. To compete with the iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Sensation, the Nokia Ace as the second of the trio has been announced with a 4.3-inch display, a physical QWERTY keyboard and an 8-megapixel camera. The third Sabre is the cheapest of the lot targeted as an entry level Windows phone offering a 3.5-inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera.

With Nokia and Microsoft teaming up, both can get back into the game and make an impact on the market where both Android and Apple have a strong position.
