LG G2 Out Now!

LG may not be the first manufacturer that comes to mind when you are thinking of your next smartphone but the latest release from LG may make you reconsider.

The LG G2 is their most advanced offering to date with a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a stunning 5.2-inch display. The Full HD 1080p IPS display has a clarity of 423ppi for fantastic graphics and crisp sharp text and the 16:9 screen minimises colour oversaturation for a cinema like experience for movies and video clips.

The powerful processor allows users to enjoy the latest mobile gaming, watch movies or experience a responsive UI making the phone lightning quick to use and multitasking hiccup free.

The camera has a resolution of 13-megapixels and the camera lens is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass to ensure the lens captures great photos for as long as you have the phone. Two-axis optical image stabilisation delivers blur free photos and ensures video clips aren’t shaky.

One of the truly unique features of the LG G2 is the rear-key which LG says is a more intuitive and ergonomic position for one handed phone use. This position, according to LG, minimises accidental key presses and by taking the need away for side keys the LG G2 gets an even more sleek profile.

The Android OS works brilliantly with the LG UI which includes features such as QSlide Function for a unique way to keep your most used tasks on hand by layering two different apps over the main screen so you can get quick access. Clip Tray lets you add multiple images to a clipboard at the bottom of the screen so you can easily pick ones you want to share or send via messages.

The LG G2 is packing a specially engineered 3,000mAh SiO+ battery designed to slot into the slim chassis of the phone perfectly and the high-density battery delivers great battery life which is good news as many smartphone users find battery life a major problem with many modern handsets.

The powerful processor, sleek design and intuitive UI overlay from LG make the LG G2 a competitor amongst the top smartphones of 2013, whether users will choose this over a Samsung or Apple device remains to be seen.
