HTC Ville Makes a Video Appearance

The HTC Ville popped up on the radar a while ago and now this Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) toting handset has made an appearance again. A leaked video shows HTC Sense and the latest Android OS working together and powered by the 1.5GHz dual core processor the performance looks impressive.

Other specs revealed on the video include an 8-megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch qHD display and the trademark HTC unibody design. The design is very in keeping with previous releases such as the Desire but this latest edition has been slimmed down and is said to be only 8mm thick.

With the MWC 2012 almost upon us it looks like the HTC Ville will become official at the event, perhaps under a new name, so we don’t have to wait too long to see how it works for ourselves. With quad-core handsets being the buzzword of 2012 does the HTC Ville stand up to the rest of the competition? Will the lack of a quad-core processor take it out of the running for the best phone of 2012? The best smartphones of 2012 will undoubtedly have some impressive specs so will the latest HTC Sense and Android OS be enough to keep the HTC Ville in the running?
