HTC Hima – New Flagship smartphone leaked


The HTC brand has long been delivering some innovative features and handsets that have won many fans in the smartphone world. The next flagship looks to continue these trends and the details have been leaked to give us a little teaser from what to expect from the HTC flagship model.

The smartphone is being pegged as the next M8, but with a new name of Hima whether this name will stick when the phone becomes official will remain to be seen.

The specifications leaked in Twitter make this phone the new cream of the crop from HTC with an Octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and an Adreno 430 GPU. That should make for one powerful smartphone if all of that hardware makes it onto the final article.


The screen is expected to be a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and there will be a 2,840mAh battery supplying to power.


The leaked specifications and rumours don’t give us a complete or clear indication of the camera details with speculation around either a 20.7-megapixel lens to keep up with other top smartphones or a 13-megapixel or 4mp Ultrapixel camera in discussion.


The HTC One M8 offered up 3D pictures with the camera setup, but there is no confirmation that this will make it on to the HTC Hima.


Android Lollipop is expected to be on board along with the usual HTC Sense 7.0 UI.

Rumours are abound that this new gem from HTC will make its debut at CES 2015 in January with attendees getting to see the new smartphone and try it out. An official launch is likely to be at MWC in Barcelona along with a couple of new Desire handsets giving HTC a whole range of smartphones to show off at the event.


The price of the HTC Hima is likely to be around the £500 mark sim-free giving you the chance o grab if for free on a monthly contract of around £35 per month.
