The Honor 20 launch is now over and the company gave us some excellent new phones at the event. As the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro are now official, we take a look at what you get with these new smartphones.

Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro specifications

The new handsets from Honor have been specially designed with a multi-layer back cover which gives them a holographic look. The colour on the back cover changes as the device is moved and captures the light. Each phone has a 6.26-inch display which uses a small punch hole for the selfie camera lens. This makes the device almost all-screen making it perfect for entertainment.

Many new handsets are now using an in-screen fingerprint sensor however, Honor has gone with a sensor built into the power button the side. Colour options will include a Phantom Blue and Phantom Black for the Honor 20 Pro. The black version of the higher rated phone has a purple/black hue while the blue is a green/blue mix. The Honor 20 is being released in a Midnight Black, Icelandic White, and Sapphire Blue option.

Under the hood, both of the models will be sporting a Kirin 980 processor, this is the latest processor from Huawei and has been used in the Huawei P30 series. Battery-wise, the Honor 20 has a 3,750mAh power pack while the Honor 20 Pro gets a bigger 4,000mAh. A 22.5W fast-charge capability is available on both phones making recharging very quick.

The big selling point of the new handsets is the high-end camera modules on each phone. Both phones have a quad lens camera on the back and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The camera sensors on the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 pro are as follows:

The main camera takes amazing quality photos and the new 117 degree Super Wide Angle lens is ideal for capturing stunning landscapes. The new macro lens is designed to make extreme close up shots clear and detailed. You can snap photos from as little as 4cm away.
