Apple Watch Series 3 goes on pre-order in the UK

UK Apple Watch Series 3 goes on pre-order

The new Apple Watch Series 3 goes on pre-order with the EE network in the UK. The new Watch from Apple will then be delivered within 14 days from the 22nd of September 2017. This means that those who order now, will receive their new Apple Watch by 6th October, at the very latest.

The big news with the Apple Watch Series 3 is that it can be purchased with an iPhone on EE, or paired up with an existing iPhone on EE, and together they use the same telephone number. This means that owners will be able to leave their iPhone behind and make and receive calls directly on the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 3 features

The Apple Watch Series 3 will be launched in both cellular and non-cellular versions. The cellular version has a built-in eSIM that will allow the watch to make and receive calls. In addition to this, owners will be able to ask Siri to send a message, set a reminder, give directions or send a calendar invitation.

Later this year, the Apple Watch Series 3 will be able to stream music through Apple Music, where 40 million songs are available.

Fitness is and has always been a core feature of the Apple Watch. The Heart Rate App has been updated and will now be able to record your heart rate when you workout, rest and walk. A heart rate alert can also be set up so that when the wearer’s heart rate goes over a set limit while resting, they will get an alert.
