ZTE Blade S6 design
The ZTE Blade S6 has a nice physical design but it is the interface that really shines. Presented on a 5-inch IPS screen (720 x 1280 pixels) with wide viewing angles is the MiFavor 3.0 User Interface which offers coloured backgrounds that actually effect your mood, uplifting it or reducing stress as desired.
A set of colour matched icons are also available for selection along with transitional effects.
The ZTE Blade S6 is pretty light at 134 grams and the 7.7mm thick shell holds a 16GB internal memory, a 64GB microSD card slot and a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core processor.
ZTE Blade S6 camera
One of the best features of the ZTE Blade S6 is its camera setup. A main 13-megapixel camera takes snaps in great detail and this is backed up by an equally impressive 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Voice activation features heavily and allows you to use commands such as capture, start, selfie, switch camera, flash and exit camera. There is also a healthy set of shooting modes that include Panorama, Beautify, Straighten, Front & Back and Group Mode which allows you to choose everyone’s best expression from a burst of possibilities captured by the camera.
If you want to capture more of the moment then video recording at a quality of 1080p should satisfy.
ZTE Blade S6 features
The Android Lollipop v5.0 operating system gives you everything from the OK Google assistant to downloads of new content from the Google Play app store, Play Music or Play Books. 4G and Wi-Fi provide the internet signal and GPS is built-in for navigation or sharing your location with friends.
If you love your music then the Dolby Digital Plus enhancements will enthrall you and with pop-up notifications your experience is never interrupted. Conversations are sorted into a Conversation Folder and ongoing chat sessions can be kept at the top of the folder by making a simple press and hold gesture.
The dial pad can be resized to suit your preference and there is a high capacity 2,400mAh battery with long standby mode to ensure a full days use or multi-day standby.
