The UK looks set to receive the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 on Vodafone, from the 1st February 2017. Using the naming of Huawei’s lightweight smartphone from 2015, this rendition sees the specs and software take big leaps forward.
Huawei P8 Lite 2017 software
The Huawei P8 Lite 2017 has two of the latest pieces of software. The operating system, which forms the foundation of how the phone works, is Google’s Android Nougat, while the user interface, which governs how things appear, is Huawei’s EMUI 5.0.
Huawei completely reinvented the look of its EMUI for 2017 and the blue colour scheme has been inspired by the colours of the Aegean Sea. As the image below shows, this is one of the cleanest looking user interfaces that we have ever seen.
Huawei P8 Lite 2017 camera
The camera on the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 looks to be another standout feature and certainly so, for a phone that will be priced at a little over £15pm on contract or at £185 on pay as you go.
The 12MP camera has larger than normal pixels in the sensor. This makes it ideal for photography at nighttime because more light photons can hit the sensor, creating a better image with less background noise.
The camera also uses a phase detection auto focus for speed and a LED flash can be used to illuminate the scene. On the opposite side, there is a 5MP selfie camera.
Huawei P8 Lite 2017 spec
