The Sony Xperia Z4 Compact looks like it could deliver some very impressive tech and of course Sony always gives us something stylish in a smartphone, here we take a look at the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact Rumours that have surfaced so far.
Sony Xperia Z4 Compact Design
I have always liked the design of the Xperia range as it stands out from the rest of the flagships out there and there is something about Sony quality that just makes you feel that you own a good bit of kit.
The overall look is expected to stay within the traditional Xperia lines and the Z4 Compact is expected to be packing a 4.6-inch touchscreen display and it will include IP68 certification for water and dustproof qualities.
Sony Xperia Z4 Compact Features
The very best of Sony technology is expected to feature in the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact so you can expect a fantastic display, superb sound quality and high-end camera features.
The 4.6-inch display will be a Triluminos screen which delivers a wider colour palette with 50% more colours for richer and natural looking colours. The XReality Engine reduces noise in images for fine tuning and improved contrast giving the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact a superior performance when it comes to gaming and watching multimedia.
Rumour has it that a 2GHz octa-core processor will be on board with 3GB of RAM and an on board storage of either 16/32GB. The on board memory can be added to with a microSD card of up to 128GB so this will open up lots of space for videos, music, pictures and apps.
Contributing to the great line-up on the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact will be Android Lollipop, 4G capabilities, ANT+ for connecting other devices and MiMo for connecting Wi-Fi thought a dual-band router for even faster speeds.
A Sony device is always going to be great on the entertainment front and to enhance the impressive display features the sound technology is designed to give a fantastic level of depth and clarity to your music, move soundtracks or games sound effects. Clear Bass is on board as well as a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine and the S-Force Front Surround gives a cinematic sound experience to your viewing.
If you are enjoying your movie on your mobile but want to take it to the bigger screen then Miracast is on hand as well as Chromecast.
The 3,000mAh battery is pegged to give approximately two days of mixed usage too so you can enjoy plenty of stuff between charges.
Sony Xperia Z4 Compact Camera
Sony has long had a good standing in the digital camera market and as this technology is used within their smartphones users have long been impressed with their Sony smartphone cameras.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Compact is expected to be packing a 20.7-megapixel camera and should include some of the features seen on previous models including Gourmet Mode for snapping a perfect pic of your dinner and Superior Auto for recognising different scene types and adjusting the settings to suit,
The selfie camera on the front is becoming just as important as the lens on the back for some users and this has seen some confusing speculation as to what will make it on the final model, with everything suggested from a 5-megapixel to a 12-megapixel resolution camera so we will have to wait for the official release for that one.
