Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 lands in UK on April 24th

Samsung has offered a range of tougher-than-average smartphones for a while now and their Xcover range looks to be getting an update with the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 going on sale in the UK from April 24th.

The latest in rugged smartphones from Samsung has IP68 certification and MIL-STD 810G certification giving it impressive tough statistics. The phone is dust and water-resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures as well as mechanical shocks, vibrations and intense solar radiation.

 

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 has a Glove Touch mode so you can phone easily when wearing gloves and the phone has Samsung Knox 2.7 for defence grade security.

 

The Xcover 4 is a little more compact than the predecessors in this range and it has a 5-inch HD display and there is a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM under the hood.

 

The phone has a 13-megapixel camera on the back along with a 5-megapixel front camera and the on board 16GB memory can be boosted with a microSD card of up to 256GB.

 

The Xcover range is perfect for anyone that need s a super tough handset when either working in extreme environments or enjoying outdoor pursuits.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover made its debut at the MWC this year and now we have confirmation from UK retailers that it will be available from the 24th April with a price of £249 so you can expect some great value deals on a monthly contract with this tough phone.
