The Samsung Galaxy Premier event is now over and the media packed venue was host to a whole new range of products revealed by the Korean manufacturer, many of which had already been leaked so now let’s look at the official details.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
We expected the S4 Mini to take centre stage and the manufacturer was not shy in singing the praises of this scaled down S4. The phone is packing a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display so multimedia and web browsing is great on this phone. The S4 Mini has a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 4G connectivity so it’s packing lots of power into a small chassis.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
A tougher S4 has been talked about for a while and Samsung confirmed this with the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. The phone is dust and water resistant so much so that it can survive in a metre of water up to 30 minutes and this also allows you to make use of the camera underwater too.
The screen is designed to be tough and even works when you are wearing gloves, perfect for active pursuits.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom
The Zoom has been leaked before and this camera focused smartphone delivers impressive photo and video features. There is a 16-megapixel sensor on the back so you can capture fantastic photos and this is the first smartphone to include 1-x optical zoom.
So Samsung has now shown us the newest members of the Galaxy S4 family what do you think? Do you like the different options offered or do you think Samsung should stick with the original S4? Tell us which your favourite is by tweeting, join the conversation on Facebook or login to comment.
