The Galaxy S family looks to be expanding again with a new addition in the form of the Galaxy S Advance. The hugely popular Galaxy S and Galaxy S II have been a great success for Samsung and it’s no surprise they wish to continue to add more and more handsets to the range.
The latest Galaxy S Advance handset will sport a dual-core 1GHz processor and a slightly curvier design than the original Galaxy S. Many of the remaining specs are similar to that of the Galaxy S such as the 4-inch Super AMOLED display and a 5-megapixel camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance will ship with Android 2.3.6 on board but as Ice Cream Sandwich is the favoured future release of Android, there should be an update issued to upgrade the OS.
So far it’s just leaked images and limited specs available but we should get to see the full tech sheet at the MWC, so we won’t have to wait too long to get our hands on the latest star in the Galaxy range.
