They Say It Takes 21 Days To Break A Habit …

Facebook Free – Day 43

So, after finding out that Lent ends on two days; either Thursday, after the 40 days and 40 nights, or Easter Sunday, which I thought it always was anyway. After much debating with my Catholic friend, it was decided that, as a Protestant, I could end Lent on Thursday. I know my friend’s too well and knew that if I did end Lent on Thursday that I’d never hear the last of it. In a bid to avoid being labelled a quitter I stayed strong and continued through until Sunday.

Since going back on to Facebook I still haven’t downloaded the app on my iPhone or my iPad, I’ve not updated my status or looked on any of my friend’s profile’s. I read through a few messages (asking whether or not I was still alive) and accepted a (few, select) friend requests. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit, after 43 I’ve doubled that and I doubt I’ll return back to the Facebook obsessive that I once was … now all I have to do is give up my latest craze … Twitter, and Blogging. I appear to have lost one habit and started two!

Hope that you’ve enjoyed reading my Lent blog as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it, it certainly motivated me to keep it going and I’ve had lots of fun sharing my stories.

Best wishes,

Lauren : )
