Blackberry fans will be delighted with today‚Äôs news, the Blackberry Bold 9900 is scheduled for a summer release and it’s a cracker!

The visual performance is significantly improved with the Liquid Graphics 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen powered along with a 1.2GHz processor. 60fps and eye-popping visuals at 287dpi will blow the mind of gamers whilst browsing the Web or viewing HD videos at 720p simply couldn’t look any crisper.

The 5-megapixel camera falls into the mid-range but an improved shutter speed will enable users to capture their subject as intended.

The new Blackberry 7 OS is featured for the first time and we see several enhancements that have been well worth the wait. Voice-enabled Universal Search, NFC support and HTML5 support with the new Just-in-Time Java compiling engine are all featured. Docs To Go is also provided in its premium features enabled form straight out of the box offering users Word, Excel and PowerPoint on their smartphone along with a native PDF viewer.

Blackberry Balance is on hand to help business users and this handy tool separates personal features such as Facebook, Twitter, games and others apps from business features such as secure corporate data.

Looks wise, the Bold 9900 is Blackberry’s thinnest handset at 10.5mm and the sleek iconic design is a blend of premium materials within a brushed stainless steel frame.
