Nokia N86Briefly: Nokia shows of its first ever 8 mega pixel camera phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Following in the footsteps of the LG Renoir, Samsung M8800 Pixon & the Sony Ericsson C905 Nokia are catching up. Firstly with the first ever touch screen phone from Nokia , the 5800 Express Music and now the first ever 8 mega pixel camera from the experts. The design is sleek and sophisticated with a 2-way slider and a stunning OLED display with a scratch resistant glass front.

Coming with a Karl Zeiss lens the N86 is everything you can expect from the successful N series but with a fantastic 8 mega pixel camera. With a Carl Zeiss lens you can get panoramic pictures, variable aperture so you can get better pictures no matter what the lighting. Other improvements include a mechanical shutter which is said to reduce motion blur. Plus with 8GB of internal memory you can store all your favourite images.

The handset also has the latest Nokia maps, photos can be Geo-tagged thanks to the built in GPS and also comes with video out which means you can show your friend on large screen television yey! Nokia OVI service means you can share your location,find your friends or simply chat plus you can also plan your route with this service.

Google Android 2!

Google Android 2Announcing the Google Android 2, well this isn’t its official name, according to reports from Boygenius.com it’s called the HTC Magic.

After the success of the Google Android (G1) which Mobilesplease stocks in black and white, we can’t wait for the arrival of this ‘magic’ phone as true android lovers. The HTC handset is said to be available exclusively to the Vodafone network alike to the G1 which is exclusive to T-mobile.

Said to feature a 3.2 inch QVGA touch screen, features a trackball for easy navigation and will also feature a 3.2 mega pixel camera, Wifi and GPS connectivity. The magic will also feature the Android optimised Web-kit browser which features a one touch Google search bar, Google maps & as well as You Tube. One of the most noticable differences to the G1 is the missing full QWERTY keyboard?

Available exclusively to Vodafone in spring the device is rumoured to available in white, we will keep you posted when we hear more!

Blackberry 8900 CurveBriefly: Known as the ‘Curve’ or Javelin is the latest mobile phone from the experts at RIM and is a great combination between stylish looks and great features.

The smallest and lightest full QWERTY Blackberry to date the 8900 Curve is a sleek looking smartphone which is very simple to navigate with a easy trackball and is great for emailing, messaging but it does lack 3G internet. Other great features include a music system which handles various music formats including MP3 and AAC plus a video camera to record all your favourite moments.

Disapointingly it comes with no 3G internet but you can access the web using Wi-Fi, GPRS or EDGE and also access google maps with the built in GPS.

The front is dominated by a full touch screen measuring 3.2 inches which is very alike to the Samsung Tocco’s display.
