Samsung U900 Soul Review

Briefly: Samsung are back with another gorgeous stylish handset to add to the ‘U’ range, with a stunning metallic finish & smooth slide it really is a beautiful creation.

Great Mobile Phone Deal: Wow this Free Samsung U900 Soul from Mobiles Please.

Samsung are back with soul with this handset which combines cutting edge technology with a stunning design. Unlike many other handsets Samsung have taken a different approach to the touch screen phenomenon by having touch sensitive controls instead of a full screen. It is a slim & light weight handset and offers 2.2 inch 320 x 240 pixel screen.

The handset is operated using dual screens – one 2.2 inch screen & a smaller touch sensitive navigation screen below. Navigation is easy with what samsung calls ‘ magic touch window’ which allows you to access 5 application including messaging, calendar & music from the home page. The magic touch window also changes depending which application is in use eg music player prompts play, skip ,stop buttons. The music player is operated by bang & Olufsen & with 100MB of onboard memory which is expandable so there is plenty of room for all your favourite tunes.

Not just a pretty face the U900 comes equipped with a 5 mega pixel camera ,high speed web browsing & a great music player. 5 mega pixel camera on coming the norm on many handsets including the Sony Ericcson C902 & K850i & touch screens have been seen on many of the latest models but Samsung has managed to bring these great features together to create a really smart phone.

The camera gives great picture quality but what we really loved was the way you can edit, crop & add affects to images before you have even put them on your computer. Great features including face detection, anti shake & ISO settings ensure you get the best picture possible.

What does the Samsung U900 Soul have to offer?

  • 5 Mega Pixel Camera

Sony Ericsson C902 Review

Sony Ericsson C902Briefly: The C902 is first handset from the long awaited Cyber-Shot range from the experts at Sony Ericsson and it is set to take the camera market by storm.

Great Mobile Phone Deal: Wow this Free Sony Ericsson C902 from Mobiles Please.

Replacing the successful K series the C902 is the first ever 5 mega pixel camera with a sleek & slim design and is sure to be just as popular as the previous series. With a surprisingly small 2 inch screen 262K colour screen the C902 is a very compact handset with alot of great features packed in.

The screen is surrounded by 8 dedicated touch sensitive camera keys which are activated only when the camera mode is turned on. These can be used to switch between the camera & video player, change the autofocus mode, access the photo gallery & many other functions. The 5 mega pixel camera comes without a Xenon flash which would have been nice but it is still an amazing camera phone & with 2.5X zoom you are guaranteed excellent pictures.

Another new great feature is the Goggle maps application which allows you to pinpoint your location & find any location…in the whole world. Geotagging is also another great location service allowing you to ‘tag’ each of your images according to the location which means you can search for images using the location. This is great for holiday snaps, like individual photo albums.

The candy bar phone is primarily a camera phone but it does have some other fantastic features including a music player supporting MP3,WMA,AAC,AAC+ & e-ACC ,FM radio & a built-in email client. You can really have some fun with this phone with Video blogging allowing you to add images to your personal blog site, storyteller means you can create a slideshow of your images and get creative with paint & other fun shapes to then share with your friends.

What does the Sony Ericsson C902 have to offer?

  • 5 Mega pixel camera
  • Slim candy bar design

Blackberry 8820 review.

Briefly: At last RIM have added Wi-Fi to a blackberry handset, the 8820 is a smart phone with powerful capabilities & a sleek style.

Great Mobile Phone Deal: Wow this Free Blackberry 8820 from Mobiles Please.

RIM have had a busy year with the launch of many new models including the Storm,Curve & Pearl but the 8820 is still one of our favourites. With excellent features including email, built in GPS & maps it is the most stylish way to get things done. The ultimate in mobile for business users the 8820 is pretty similar to the 8800 design wise but with the main change being the convenience of Wi-Fi.

As this is primarily business phone the isnt a camera on this handset but the business features make up for it . With a 2.5 inch 320 X 240 pixel screen it isn’t the lightest handset available at 134g but with so many applications it beats carrying a laptop around. Like most Blackberry handsets it is navigated using a trackball and QWERTY keyboard which means it is very simple & quick to control.

The Wifi support will make a big difference to business users & makes it really simple to connect plus you will notice a big difference in the page loading speeds compared to GPRS. The email client alike to many other RIM models is really easy to use and you can pick up emails from up to ten accounts so its great for keeping in touch.

Although it is a business phone it does have a music player for when you want to relax which synchronizes with supplied software from Roxio allowing you to drop music, photos and videos onto this device.

What does the Blackberry 8820 have to offer?

  • Wifi for fast internet anywhere
  • QWERTY keyboard
  • Built in GPS
  • 2.5 inch clear display

The 8820 is available at Mobiles please on the orange network from £25 per month with free gifts, cashback & 1 months free insurance.

Do business in style with the Blackberry 8820!

BlackBerry 9500 Storm Review

Briefly: The BlackBerry 9500 Storm is fully touch screen enabled with a 3.5” screen and features a lovely 3.2 Mega pixel camera.

Blackberry 9500 Storm

The BlackBerry 9500 Storm is their top phone so really needs to impress everyone otherwise it could just dwindle away into such a competitive market, which also hosts Apples ground breaking Iphone, the Sony Ericsson C905 and Samsungs Tocco.

What really impresses on first look is the massive 3.25” screen which has a resolution of 480×360 which is great for full web browsing which is supplied by the super fast 3G connection and helped along by the Blackberry’s HSPDA technology, and of course the email which Blackberry have always been so good at is still very present on the 9500 Storm even Web based email such as Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft Live and of course Outlook.

Since the rise of the social network site Facebook.com an official application has been designed by Research In Motion (RIM) the manufactures of Blackberry, allowing you to fully browse Facebook.com on your Blackberry, so you’re never going to be out of contact with your friends even if you don’t have their mobile phone number.

Being able to open such attachments as JPEG, PDF, Word and excel files, the Blackberry 9500 really is a mobile office and with such a high quality 3.2” 65,000 colour touch screen you don’t sacrifice on any quality.

Ok the 9500 storm only has a 3.2 Mega pixel camera but compared to older Blackberry 8120 Pearl that only has a 2 Mega pixel camera this is a major improvement, at least the 8120 Pearl did have a flash which still is a luxury item on a mobile phone today.
Compared to that of the Apple IPhone which only has a 2 Mega pixel camera with no zoom function. The 9500 Storm still has the great auto flash and auto focus but the 2x digital zoom is a little on the low side but as we know digital zoom isn’t great but some zoom on a mobile phone camera is better than none.

Worried about music compatibility then worry not, as the 9500 Storm will synchronize with Apples ITunes and offers Full Bluetooth v2 support including wireless stereo headphones and is compatible with major audio files such as MP3,WMA and AAC.
Since your ITunes might fill more than the phones memory which is 1GB, again worry not since the phone is able to take a 16GB MicroSD card allowing you storage for at least another 4000 audio files, surely that’s enough mobile music and more storage than you should need.

Blackberry Maps is another great feature that the 9500 Storm has to offer, if you have never used or seen Blackberry Maps in action it’s basically a portable Satnav much like a TomTom. The Blackberry 9500 will update itself using its built in GPS and will track and pinpoint your location.

Quick Features:
Upto 16GB Storage
3.25” 65,00 Colour Touch Screen
ITunes Compatible
Mobile Internet
3.2 Mega pixel camera

Sony Ericsson C905

Sony Ericsson C905Briefly: Introducing the first 8 mega pixel phone from the experts a Sony Ericcson, the phone that can capture all of your favourite memories.

Great Mobile Phone Deal: Wow this Free Sony Ericsson C905 from Mobiles Please.

From the successful cybershot range the C905 has set the bar for camera phones everywhere. With a Xenon flash, face detection & picture/video blogging it is better quality than most digital cameras on the market. The camera is clearly the selling point of this handset but it does have some pretty amazing application including wayfinder navigation, built in email client & DLNA support allowing you to hook your phone up with a television.

The display is 2.4 inch with 240 X 320 pixels so you get really clear images which makes up for the quite small screen.  With so many applications packed into it isnt very purse friendly but it is alot smaller than a digital camera, plus with a sleek sophisticated design it is perfect for professionals too.

With an internal memory of 160 MB which can be extended to 2GB with a memory card which mean plenty of space to store all your favourite images, emails & videos. The handset also has a fantastic media player to enjoy music & video playback & HSDPA for mobile internet speed alike to home broadband taking 3G a step further.

What does the Sony Ericsson C905 have to offer?
•    8.1 mega pixel camera with Xenon flash
•    Wayfinder navigation system to help you find your way.
•    Email client
•    Media Player
•    Fast web browser and HSDPA for quick data
•    Picture/Video blogging.
